CO Pilot Charles Scott (Grand Rapids) completed a Leech Lake survey flight. He rescheduled aircraft maintenance appointments and addressed new maintenance issues.

CO Pilot Jason Jensen (Brainerd) reports flying creel surveys for Leech Lake and a statewide rookery survey flight. Jensen also checked anglers and angling/aquatic plant management activity from the airplane in vacant stations. Violations found were no license in possession, no sound device, unpermitted weed rollers, illegal hydraulic jets, and a possible baited turkey hunting site.

CO Pilot Bob Geving (Mankato) flew a public waters violation photo mission with the area hydrologist in Murry County. Geving also attended to administrative tasks, including inventory audits.

CO Pilot Tim Gray (Bemidji) flew day and night boat survey flights for area fisheries offices. Gray also assisted District 2 patrolling over the holiday weekend.

NR Pilot Brad Maas (Brainerd) completed two days of online classes and worked on special tooling needed for the fish tank. He also worked on flight instructor materials, and administrative tasks.

NR Pilot Gracie Zeller (Brainerd) flew a fixed wing training flight. She also reviewed the low-level training ground course and updated training material. She worked on modernizing the helicopter training syllabus as well.
