This position directs and coordinates the department's legislative activities, monitors implementation of new legislation, monitors congressional and federal agency activities which impact the department.
This position also oversees the regional offices in Northwestern Minnesota, Northeastern Minnesota, Central Minnesota, and Southern Minnesota.
