Where to go: Many newly devleoped trails will lead you to discover varied terrain and wonderful views. Paddling or boating the lake offers many spectacular scenery also.
What you'll see: Maples have begun yellowing and bringing on shades of reddish hues. Sumac have begun to put on a bright red color. Rose hips are abundant and quite visible in many locations.
Also of interest: Hunting seasons have begun and you may encounter hunters pursuing mourning dove, black bear and ruffed grouse. Water in the campground will be shut off early in October, however the campground will remain open for rustic camping through November.
