Forest Insect and Disease Newsletter
Signing up for electronic delivery
I know all of you are suffering some level of withdrawal due to the lack of Forest Insect and Disease Newsletters in your mailbox. Since May, the Newsletter is only available in electronic format on the web. To help alleviate some of your pain and anguish, I am offering these easy steps so you can access the electronic format.
Unless you sign yourself up, you will miss this unique opportunity to get the most current and innovative Forest Insect and Disease reporting. Our detailed trend-spotting and analysis will maximize your knowledge and make you the envy of your neighbors. Don't be the only one in your office to be left out.
Be sure to sign yourself up to receive the MN DNR Forest Insect and Disease Newsletter. In order for you to receive our newsletters (4 per year), you need to start at the DNR homepage .
- On the DNR homepage, go to the bottom right hand corner in "Connect with us" and click on the symbol of the red envelope. This will bring you to a page that shows "Email updates" and topics of interest.
- Fill in your email address and then a password. Click on submit.
- On the next page under the heading of "Education/Safety" put a check next to the Forest Insect and Disease Newsletter and submit.
- Click on finish.
- When a new Newsletter is posted you will be automatically notified that it is available for you to view.
In case you missed it, we did produce a May issue of the Forest Insect and Disease Newsletter. If you weren't notified about that newsletter, you haven't signed up yet. You can find the May issue (and most previous issues) on the DNR Forestry webpage under Forest Health.
