Comments: Because Beason Lake is located in the Minnesota Valley Recreation Area, it provides a well-rounded experience for families that like to get outdoors. This lake receives floodwaters from the Minnesota River; therefore many other species including northern pike and common carp can be caught. A daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter the park.
