Community forestry Internet reference links folder

The Community forestry Internet reference folder organizes links to Community Forestry Web pages into topical folders that together create a reference library for Community Forestry professionals. These Web pages are the most up-to-date, thorough materials available on the Internet.

The references in this list were reviewed by the Minnesota Shade Tree Advisory Committee-Education and Research Committee. Because this committee is made up of multiple agencies, the reference links lead to Web pages of many agencies. This helps prevent duplication of existing material, allowing agencies to concentrate on their specific goals while drawing on the work of other organizations.

Topics covered in the reference links folder

  • Tree planting and maintenance
  • Insect and disease
  • Community resources
  • Grant opportunities
  • Storm response and preparedness
  • Education and training opportunities
  • Woodland BMP's
  • Forest management
  • Fire
  • Agency and organization main pages
