Friday's keynote:
John Latimer, a self-taught phenologist, describes this interesting phenomenon as "the rhythmic biological nature of events as they relate to climate." His skills in photography and observation, coupled with a strong sense of curiosity, led him to document as many aspects of natural events as possible on a daily basis. John's fascinating way of speaking about phenology in everyday language will not only excite you about these events but educate you in ways you never expected. John has been a strong presence on KAXE public radio for over 20 years and has a large following who listen to his weekly phenology show.
Minnesota Phenology: Join us Friday evening to hear stories, see photos, and learn a thing or two about our natural surroundings and how it changes over time. Come listen to John's years of experience with phenology and learn how you can become your own backyard phenologist. View John's webpage and listen to his weekly address at KAXE Phenology
