 Placing a geocache in Minnesota state parks.

Geocaching in Minnesota State Parks is an extremely popular activity. Since 2008, well over 1,200 geocaches have been hidden in Minnesota State Parks, Recreation Areas, and Waysides. 

Do you want to hide a geocache for other people to find? Great! Read these guidelines This is a PDF file. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download it. first, and then apply for a State Park geocaching permit.

 

How do I apply?

Permits are required to place a geocache within a State Park, Recreation Area, or Wayside.  Please submit a completed geocaching permit application This is a PDF file. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download it. to the Parks and Trails division to review.  Anticipate that it may take up to 30 days for your application to be processed.
