Description:

Approximately 114 acres in size, Grams Regional Park is located along Fremont Lake, near Zimmerman with nearly 1,000 feet of lakeshore frontage. Currently, the park is in early development stages and has some hiking trails. Two grants were awarded to Sherburne County to acquire this park: a Regional Park Grant was used to acquire 49.9 acres and a Natural and Scenic Area Acquisition Grant was used to acquire the remaining 63.8 acres.

A picnic shelter with tables and cooking grills is now available for public use. Future plans are to develop year round trails, picnicking, a canoe access, a fishing pier and an educational center.

Location:

The Grams Regional Park is located east of Zimmerman near Fremont Lake. From US Hwy 169 in Zimmerman, go east on Co.Rd.4 for 3/4 mile and turn north on 120th St. Go 1 mile and the park entrance is on the right across from Fremont Lake
