Elm Creek Preservation Corridor

Description:

Acquired 63 acres for wildlife habitat and nature observation. Includes the largest remaining forest stands in Maple Grove. A bituminous trail provides opportunities for walking and biking. The trail starts at Weaver Lake Rd and is 1/2 mile long at this time. It will be linked as future land develops to a neighborhood park and the Medicine Lake Regional Trail Corridor. Take a few steps from residential development and busy streets and instantly be with nature - the trail passes through woods, wetland and circles an open body of water.
