Description:

Minnemishinona Falls is a 3-acre site that contains the 42-foot Minnemishinona Falls and gorge. The waterfall is known as a historical feature and one of geological and cultural significance. The site provides views of the waterfall, gorge and the Minnesota River Valley. The park is located along the officially designated alternate route of the Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway and an officially designated Natural Preservation Route. Future development plans include creating a parking area and overlook of the falls. One Natural and Scenic Area grant was awarded to the County to help acquire and protect this area.
