Description:

Rapidan County Park is 35 acres of land adjacent to west bank of the Blue Earth River. The park protects remnants of native forest and provides scenic views of river bluffs and cliffs. It is just downstream from the historic Rapidan Dam. The park offers a canoe launch, primitive camping, picnic shelter, playground and nature trail. One Natural and Scenic Area grant was awarded to Blue Earth County to help acquire 32 acres of riverfront property and one Outdoor Recreation Grant was awarded to help develop the playground, picnic facilities and canoe portage.
