Mississippi River Overlook

Description:

Acquire 63 acres of forested land with ½ mile of frontage on the Mississippi River. The property is adjacent to an existing canoe landing and across the river from Crow Wing State Park. A significant area for Blanding's Turtle and Red-shouldered Hawk, the property location and its high natural resource qualities make it ideal for low impact public enjoyment in this rapidly developing area of the state. The City plans to construct a trail connecting this park to the Paul Bunyan Trail.
