Minnesota PLT Teacher Awarded GreenWorks! Pollinator Grant to build a native pollinator garden

Through the GreenWorks! grant program, Project Learning Tree funds grant requests from teachers ranging from $250 to $1,000 for environmental community action and service learning projects. Participants are encouraged to form partnerships with groups, businesses or organizations within their communities to help implement and sustain environmental projects. Examples of past projects include stream clean-ups, graffiti paint-overs, outdoor classrooms, schoolyard restoration, and habitat improvements.

Eligibility requirements

  • You must have attended a PLT Workshop to be eligible to apply.
  • Application forms This link leads to an external site. will be available by the end of April.
  • The deadline for proposals is September 30.
