Recommendations outlined in this survey are a culmination of five years of research that examined both the biological and social aspects of various deer hunting regulations. In total, three different hunter surveys (2005, 2007 and 2009) were conducted and thousands of deer were examined at deer registration stations during the 2005-2009 deer seasons.
