Bigfork to Balsam, Wilderness Wheelers GIA ATV Proposal, Itasca County

The DNR invites public review and written comment on a proposal by Itasca County to obtain state Grant-in-Aid (GIA) funding for a 25-mile long All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) trail on state, federal and county land in northern Itasca County.

The ATV trail will be maintained by the Wilderness Wheelers ATV Club, under agreement with Itasca County.

Public review

The DNR welcomes public perspectives and comments on the proposal. The deadline for comments is 4:30 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012.
