Grant County 4-H Mud Puppies ATV Recreation Area GIA Proposal

The DNR invites public review and written comment on a proposal by Grant County to obtain state Grant-in-Aid (GIA) funding to develop a 40-acre All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) recreation area on county-owned land in Delaware Township.

A four-acre ATV safety park is currently developed on the proposed site.  The additional 36 acres would be developed to include ATV trails, a skills course, and a challenge area.

The ATV recreation area will be maintained by the Grant County 4-H Mud Puppies Club, under agreement with Grant County.

Public review

The DNR welcomes public perspectives and comments on the proposal. The deadline for comments is 4:30 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012.
