UPDATE: The DNR received only one request for hearing and so the hearing has been canceled. DNR will proceed to have the proposed rules reviewed as to legality by the Office of Administrative Hearings.

This rule package simplifies the trout regulations on the North Shore, adopts the commercial fishing rules that originated in the 2006 Lake Superior Management Plan, adds or modifies the fishing closures on the Lester and Knife rivers, and changes the yellow perch bag limit on the South Dakota ? Minnesota border waters.
