Relating to state game refuges, trapping and hunting small game, and habitat stamps

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) received no requests for a hearing on the proposed rules. As of December 19, 2011, DNR canceled the hearing date and will proceed to request review of the rules by the Administrative Law Judge without a hearing.

The statement of need and reasonableness contains a summary of the justification for the proposed rules, including a description of who will be affected by the proposed rules and an estimate of the probable cost of the proposed rules.

New language in the proposed rules is underlined. Language to be deleted is in strike-through.

 

The proposed rules were approved by Administrative Law Judge Kathleen D. Sheehy on January 31, 2012, without any change. Commissioner Tom Landwehr signed an order adopting the rules on February 27, 2012. A notice of adoption is scheduled for publication in the State Register on April 2, 2012, and the rules will be effective April 9, 2012.
