Quarter-inch trap nets were used in the Grand Marais Harbor to determine whether ruffe or round goby were present. Neither species was found, although their presence cannot be ruled out on the basis of this limited effort. The trap net catch consisted entirely of sticklebacks, sculpins, and white sucker.
