ArcView Roadway Symbols Extension

Purpose of this Extension

The ArcView Utility Tools extension contains a number of extended GIS functions that are commonly used by resource managers but not available on the standard ArcView interface. The ArcView Utilitiy Tools contains a form that contains a number of buttons that perform a variety of GIS processing functions. Some of these are directly related to geographic analysis (clip, buffer, intersect etc) and some are general utility commands that have been commonly requested.

Functionality Highlights

At this time this extension contains the following functionality:

 

Clip Themes	Clips Vector Themes to the shape of a selected polygon(s).
Buffer Themes	Creates a polygon theme of buffers around the selected features of a theme.
Intersect Themes	Intersect two themes.
Merge Themes	Merge one or more themes.
Erase Themes	Erase from one theme the features in another theme.
Union Themes	Union two themes
Subset Legend	Subset a legend to only those classes that exists in the current data.
Calculate Area/Perimeter/Length/Acres	Calculate Feature Geometry for a theme.
Shift Theme	Shift the coordinates of a Theme.
Ungroup Features	Ungroup features in a theme.
Polygon to Polyline	Convert Polygon shapes to Polyline shapes.
Point in Polygon Summarize	Summarizes the points that fall in polygons and Joins the Point summary table to the polygon Theme Attribute Table
