Soo Line South Trail: Mille Lacs County

The Soo Line South crosses 22 miles through Mille Lacs County, running just south of the Rum River State Forest, Mille Lacs Kathio State Park, Mille Lacs Lake and Father Hennepin State Park. Following an abandoned railroad grade, it provides a relatively flat ride with gentle, sweeping curves. This section of the Soo Line South Trail is provided by Mille Lacs County and maintained by the Mille Lacs Drift Skippers Snowmobile/ATV Club.

Location

Parking is available in Onamia, south of Main St. off U. S. Hwy. 169. Additional parking is available on Hwy. 27, go south from Isle on Co. Rd. 17 for 1 block to signed parking east of road.
