Solana State Forest OHV Trails
The Solana State Forest is classified as LIMITED. The terrain in the forest is mostly level to gently rolling and contains many swampy areas. Slightly over half of the area within the forest is wetland. Timber harvesting, reforestation, and wildlife habitat improvement occur throughout this forest. There are no campgrounds within the forest, however dispersed camping is allowed provided state forest rules are followed. The White Pine forest road is the main connector between the trails located east and west of State Highway 65. Due to the level topography and heavy soil, these trails are susceptible to temporary closures following major rain events, and in early spring. Always check the web or call ahead to make sure the trails are open. |
