Mesabi Mountain ORV Trail
The Mesabi Mountain Off-road vehicle (ORV) trail is a 3.58 mile (7 miles round trip) extreme trail for ORVs that follows the rocky ridges and ledge rock outcroppings of part of the Laurentian Divide. Beautiful forest scenery, wildlife, and scenic overlooks await you along the trail. There is a picnic area about halfway in with BBQ and picnic table. There are lots of boulder and ledge rock obstacles along the length of the trail. Due to the difficulty of this trail 35 inch tires, lockers, and a winch are recommended equipment on all ORVs entering trail. The Eveleth Gilbert Joint Powers Trail Board and Northern Minnesota Jeepers invite you to have fun and enjoy the peace and quiet of an adventure in the northwoods. This trail is near the Iron Range Off-highway Vehicle Recreation Area. |
