Moose Run Trail

Located north of Finland, the 12-mile Moose Run Trail takes riders through the Sawtooth Mountains along Minnesota's scenic North Shore. The Moose Run Trail is a family-friendly route. The trail winds over hills and through deep woods, brushing along the North Shore State Trail before merging with the Moose Walk Trail. This trail is provided by Lake County and maintained by the Finland Snowmobile/ATV Club.

Parking:
Parking and trail access north of Finland off Hwy. 7, west of Co. Rd. 1 or east of Co. Rd. 701.
Additional parking is available at the Finland Community Center. From Finland, travel 1.3 miles east on Co. Rd. 7. From Silver Bay, go 5 miles northeast on Hwy. 61. Turn west on Co. Rd. 1 for 6.2 miles, then east on Co. Rd. 7 for 1.3 miles.
