Axtell Technical Riding Area
The Axtell Riding Area is reachable only by trail access from the Soo Line North Trail: Aitkin County near McGregor. The area offers technical trails across a variety of natural and placed features. Ride the "whoops," circle the "bowl," climb the hills or take the "crawls" to build riding skills.
This area is part of the 200-mile Northwoods ATV Trail and is provided and maintained by Aitkin County and local ATV Clubs

In McGregor, at the intersection of Hwy. 210 and Hwy. 65, turn south on Maddy St. and go 0.5 miles to trailhead parking. Follow Soo Line North to the Northwest to access site.
