Seasonal Update

Water: Water is available at the park office year round.

Drinking Water: Drinking water at the campground and picnic area is currently off. Will be turned on 5/11/2018.

Bathroom Facilities: Flush toilets in the campground are shut down for the season. Will open on 5/11/2018

Showers: Campground showers are shut down for the season. Will be open on 5/11/2018.

Dump Station: The RV dump station is shut down for the season. Will open 5/11/2018.


Campgrounds: Both the camper cabin and campgrounds are available March 30th - November 20th

Electric Sites: Eleven electric sites with 20 and 30 amp service are available.

Special Notes for RV Campers: When making a reservation keep in mind that our campsite pads are long but the turning radius to get into them is tight.


Contact Notes:

The park's office hours are currently intermittent for the off season.


Trail Notes:

Summer trails: There are 17 miles of hiking trails, with .1 mile wheelchair accessible. There are also nearly two miles of self-guided trail.

Winter trails: There are 13 miles of ungroomed ski trail and 4 miles of snowmobile trails (snowmobile parking is available at designated site at the Banning Junction restaurant) and 1/2 mile of winter hiking trails. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Occasional naturalist programs are offered during the summer. Inquire at the park office.
