Seasonal Update

Water: Water is off for the season at the picnic area and campground.

Drinking Water: Drinking water is available at the office in the spring, fall, and winter.

Bathroom Facilities: Flush toilets are currently closed for the season.

Showers: Showers are off for the season. Facilities are handicapped accessible.

Dump Station: The RV Dump Station is open Mid - May through Mid - October.

Campgrounds: Camping is available year-round. Electric and non-electric campsites are available in the park. In winter, 2 electric and 3 non-electric sites are available. Park also has a camper cabin available for rent through the end of October. When making a reservation online, please include the total length of your vehicle and trailer.

Electric Sites: 11 electric sites available in spring/summer and fall. Two electric sites are available for winter camping.

Special Notes for RV Campers: RV pads available. When making a reservation online, please include the total length of your vehicle and trailer.

Reservations: Recommended for weekends and electric sites. Reservations are not needed from November 1 - April 1.

Fall/Spring: Saturday - Monday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Tuesday - Thursday, Intermittent ; Friday 10 a.m - 4 p.m.

Winter: Friday - Monday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Tuesday - Thursday, Intermittent

Summer: Daily, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. If no one is available, please leave a message.

Trail Notes:

Summer: Park has 17 miles of hiking trail and nearly 2 miles of self-guided trail. Park has .1 mile of handicapped accessible trail.

Winter: 11 miles of groomed (easy) cross-country ski trail, 4 miles of snowmobile trail (snowmobile parking is available at designated site at the Banning Junction restaurant) and 1/2 mile of winter hiking trail. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park except on groomed ski trails.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: There will be a naturalist program most weekends in the summer.
