Seasonal Update

Water: Water is on from mid-April through mid-October.

Drinking Water: Water is on in the park's day-use areas from mid-April through mid-October. Water is available year-round at the west end of the park's shop building.

Bathroom Facilities: Vault toilets are available in the park year-round.

Showers: Showers are on from mid-April through mid-October. Facilities are wheelchair accessible.

 

Campgrounds: Camping is available year-round. Campground road is not plowed in the winter, so walk in from picnic parking lot.
Summer: 42 drive-in campsites, 16 walk-in campsites (tents only), 6 cart-in sites, 1 wheelchair accessible site.
Winter: Winter campers should call ahead to make sure the campground road is open and has been plowed, gates are open, and facilities are available.
Group Camp closes for the winter on November 1.

Electric Sites: 16

Reservations: Recommended for weekends Memorial Day through Labor Day. Not needed from November 1 - April 1.

Trail Notes:
Summer: Park has 8 miles of hiking trail (Beaver Creek Hiking Trail)
Winter: Park has 4 miles of ungroomed cross-country ski trail and 8 miles of winter hiking trail. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park. In addition, the park has about 5 miles of snowshoe trail. Trail shelters with wood-fired fireplaces are available in winter.

Season Rentals: The Camper Cabin in the park is available for rental. The picnic shelter can be rented for $35/day by contacting the park.
