Seasonal Update

Water: The water will be turned on for the summer season on Friday, May 10th, 2013.

Drinking Water: Drinking water will be turned on for the summer season on Friday, May 10th, 2013.

Bathroom Facilities: Bathrooms in the day use area will be open for the summer season on Friday, May 10th, 2013. Vault toilets are available in the park year-round.

Showers: The shower building be opened up for the summer season on Friday, May 10th, 2013.

Dump Station: The dump station will be turned on for the summer season on Friday, May 10th, 2013.

 

Campgrounds: Park has 44 drive-in campsites; 2 sites are wheelchair accessible. In 2013, camping will be available through October 20th.

Electric Sites: Park has 35 electric sites.

Special Notes for RV Campers: There are 44 gravel sites in the park.

Reservations: Reservations recommended on weekends Memorial Day through Labor Day; reservations are not needed from November 1 - April 1.

 

Contact Notes: Best time to contact the park:

Spring: Daily, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

 

Trail Notes: Park has 12 miles of hiking trail. In winter, the park maintains 6 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, 6 miles of winter hiking trail and one mile of snowshoe trail. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park except on groomed ski trails.The park has winter trail shelters that are heated on weekends.

Season Rentals: The picnic shelter is available for rent - $50/day tax included. Call the park to reserve. Six pairs of snowshoes are also available for rent at $6 per pair, per day.
