Seasonal Update

Water: Water is off for the 2011 season. Water will be turned on again on May 11, 2012. Drinking water is available at the back of the park office.

Bathroom Facilities: Flush bathrooms are closed for the season and will reopen May 11, 2012. Outhouses are available in the picnic area and campground.

Showers: The shower building is closed for the season and will reopen May 11, 2012.

Dump Station: Trailer sanitation station is closed until May 11, 2012.

Campgrounds: The Charles A. Lindbergh campground is closed to drive in traffic until spring 2012. The sites may be accessed by hiking or skiing.

Electric Sites: The campground contains 15 electric sites. They are closed to drive in traffic for the winter. They may be accessed by hiking or skiing.

Reservations: Recommended especially for holidays and weekends in summer and fall. The park's reservation season begins Friday, May 4, 2012. Reservations can be made 365 days in advance.

Contact Notes: Best time to contact the park:

Winter: Daily, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. If no one is available, please leave a message on the answering machine and we'll reply to you as soon as possible.

Trail Notes: Park has 8 miles of hiking and 6 miles of traditional XX skiing trails. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park except on groomed ski trails. Trail shelter available in winter.

Season Rentals: Canoe rentals available in summer ($10 for 4 hours, $20 for all day) , snowshoe rentals ($6 for four hours) available in winter.
