Seasonal Update

Water: Water will be shut off for the 2011 season in the Maple Grove campground on September 26, 2011 and in the Lakeview campground, dump station and day use areas on October 24, 2011.

Drinking Water: Drinking water is available year-round at the park maintenance shop and park office.

Bathroom Facilities: Bathroom facilities will be closed for the 2011 season in the Maple Grove campground on September 26, 2011 and in the Lakeview campground on October 24, 2011. Vault toilets are available year round.

Showers: The shower facilities will be closed for the 2011 season in the Maple Grove campground on September 26, 2011 and in the Lakeview campground on October 24, 2011. Facilities are handicapped accessible.

Dump Station: The water will be shut off at the dump station for the 2011 season on October 24, 2011.

 

Campgrounds: Camping is available until snowfall. The park's group camp will be available for use from May 1 until October 31, 2011.

Electric Sites: Park has 41 electric sites available during the regular camping season.

Reservations: Recommended for Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. No reservations needed from November 1 - May 1.

Summer: Sunday - Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Thursday and Saturday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Friday 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Spring and Fall: Daily, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Winter: Generally, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Office hours limited due to staffing.

 

Trail Notes: The park has 4.5 miles of hiking trails. In winter, hiking is allowed on plowed roads only and the park maintains 2.5 miles of easy-level cross-country ski trails. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park except on groomed ski trails. A woodburning stone fireplace provides heat for the trail shelter.

Season Rentals: The park's picnic shelters are available for rent. Inquire at the park office.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Interpretive programs are held in the park most weekends. Inquire at the park office.
