3 campground loops. In winter, 4-12 non-electric sites are kept available in Loop B of the main campground for camping.

Length is measured from the front of the tow vehicle to the rear of the vehicle being towed.

Horse Camp

60 Sites (24 sites are electric)

See Park Notes section for updated information about the horse riding area. Maximum capacity for the horse camp is 360. For reservations, contact the state park reservation service by phone or online. Available May 25 through Oct. 31. Exceptional horse trails in park.

Group Camp

2 Sites - Each accommodates up to 50 people

Sites are located in wooded area near the Root River. Sites share a shelter with lights and electric outlets. Each has terraced campsites, water spigots, vault toilets, and fire ring. Limited drive-in camping is available for small campers and trailers, depending on weather. Parking is adjacent to sites.

Located in campground. Wheelchair accessible. Available mid-April through third week of October.

Vault Toilets

Throughout Park

Numerous vault toilets are located throughout the park. Some are wheelchair accessible and open year-round.
