Water: Water systems are functional year-round at the park office and picnic area and available seasonally in campground areas from mid-April through mid-October.

Bathroom Facilities: Flush toilets are available year-round at the picnic shelter, park office and whenever the Mystery Cave Visitor Center is open. Flush toilets are available in the campground from mid-April through mid-October. Vault toilets are available in the campground year-round.
Showers: The campground showers are available seasonally from mid-April through mid-October.
Dump Station: Is available seasonally from May through September.
Campgrounds: Rustic non-electric campsites are available when the shower building is closed.
Semi-modern camping with showers is available from mid-April through mid-October.
The group camp is available from April through October.
In 2013 the horse camp is available from May 1 and will close November 3rd.
Electric Sites: Are available in the main camp from mid-April through mid-October.
In the horse camp, they are available from May 1 through October (in 2013 the Horse Camp will close November 3rd).
Special Notes for RV Campers: Regular electric campsites have 30 amp service. Horse electric campsites have 50 amp service.
Reservations: Reservations are recommended for weekend arrivals during the spring, summer, and fall months for main camp electric and horse electric sites, as well as group camp sites.

Trail Notes: Horse / hiking trails are surfaced with crushed limestone. Shod horses are strongly recommended. Horse trails open May through October. Hiking is available year round. Ski / snowmobile trails open when adequate snow is present.
Season Rentals: Snowshoes are available for rental.
Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Mystery Cave tours are available every day from Memorial Weekend through the end of September, and on Saturdays and Sundays in spring and fall beginning in mid-April through October. Traditional campfire programs and naturalist-led walks and field trips are offered from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day weekend. Tours of Historic Forestville, by the Minnesota Historical Society, are available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. In 2013 an expanded schedule in September and October adds tours on Saturdays only, from 10 am to 4 pm.
