Picnic Area

2 Picnic Areas

The main picnic area is located adjacent to the historic site. This site includes a shelter and playground equipment, sandbox, horseshoes, volleyball, softball diamond and amphitheater. Pedestal and on-ground grills are available. The other picnic area is located adjacent to the campgrounds along the creek. It is a smaller site and you must carry out what you carry in. There is no trash disposal facility here.

Picnic Shelter

Open Shelter and Enclosed Shelter

Located in the main picnic area, shelter includes fireplace, electricity, picnic tables, and sink with running water. Flush toilets and handicapped accessible vault toilets are available. Can accommodate up to 60 people and is handicapped accessible. Please reserve by calling the park.

Playground

Playground equipment includes swings, a climbing area, and a sandbox.

Golf Course

9-Hole Course

This is a 2,739 yard, par 35 course with narrow fairways, many mature trees, and grass greens. It is a walk-only course. No advance reservation for tee times, it is first-come, first-served only. Weekday Rates are $9 for 9 holes or $14 for all day. Weekend/Holiday Rates are $13 for 9 holes or $18 for all day. Punch cards and season passes are also available. Equipment rental (golf clubs and pull carts) is available at park office. Contact the park for equipment rental fees.

Warming House

Chalet Building

Lower floor of the chalet building serves as the winter warming house and includes flush toilets which are handicapped accessible, vending machine, electric outlets, picnic tables and fireplace. Wood for the fireplace is provided by the park. Facility is open year-round.

Sliding Hill

3 sliding areas

Two areas are restricted to inner tube use only. The third area is open to all types of sliding equipment. Inner tubes are available for a $2 rental fee.
