The park's visitor center has interpretive exhibits, meeting rooms, flush toilets, vending machines and a gift shop. The building is open year-round and also serves as a warming house in winter. A sheltered area with picnic tables is adjacent to the center on one side of the building. An amphitheater is adjacent to the facility on the opposite end of the building. Wheelchair accessible. | |

Visitors can hike up to Historic Fort from the park. The Sibley Historic Site is a 3-mile drive from park. Both sites are operated by the Minnesota Historical Society and are open to the public May through September. | |
