Seasonal Update

Water: Available across the road from the park office. Water is not on in the campgrounds.

Drinking Water: Drinking water is available year round at the hydrant located across the road from the park office.

Bathroom Facilities: Outdoor toilets are available year round in all of the use areas.

Showers: Shower facilities are closed for the season.

Dump Station: Dump Station is closed for the season.

 

Campgrounds: The Lower campground is open year-round. Sites are hike-in/ski-in after first snowfall.

Electric Sites: The Park has 14 electric sites in the lower campground.

Special Notes for RV Campers: No electric sites are available in the Oakridge campground.

Reservations: Campground reservations not needed October to May. The cabins are reservable year round, it is advised to reserve cabins..

Trail Notes: Horse trails are open. Call ahead for conditions.

Season Rentals: Snowshoes are available to rent at the park office for $6 per day. Boats, canoes, and kayaks are available for rent May 1 to November 1.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Astronomy programs are held at sundown the third Saturday of the month, May through October, at the horse camp, weather permitting. Story time will be held every Saturday May 26-Sept. 1, 2012 at 10 am- 11 am. Story time is geared towards children preschool- Kindergarden and will consits of a story and avtivity.
