Water: Water is off for the season.
Drinking Water: Water is available at the contact station.
Bathroom Facilities: Restrooms are closed until spring 2012. Vault toilets available in the day use areas.
Showers: Shower building is closed for the season.
Dump Station: Dump Station is closed until spring 2012.
Campgrounds: Hayes Lake has two loops with a total of 35 campsites. Two camper cabins are available from 4/1/10 through 10/31/10. Two hike-in campsites are also available, located on a scenic overlook on the north side of Hayes Lake. In winter, camping can be made available at this park by contacting the park in advance. The group camp is available from May 8 through October 31, 2010.
Electric Sites: Park has 18 electric sites for use during the summer camping season.
Reservations: Recommended during the summer and early fall seasons for camping and the park's camper cabin.

Office hours will vary, but weekends are best. If no one is available, please leave a message.
Trail Notes: Park has 13 miles of hiking trail, 5 miles of mountain bike trail and 7 miles of horse trail. In winter, park will maintain 9 miles of snowmobile trail and 11 miles of ski trail.. Call ahead for information on groomed ski trails. Visitors may snowshoe in the park except on groomed ski trails.
Season Rentals: Canoe, kayak, and row boat rental will open for the 2010 season on May 28th. All watercraft rent for $10.00/half day or $20.00/full day. We also rent electric trolling motors and batteries. Please check with the park for availibility. Motor use on Hayes Lake is limited to electric motors only.
Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: There is no naturalist on staff at this park. Visit the State Parks calendar of events for information on the many special events throughout the season.
