At the Mine |
Guided interpretive tours begin the Friday of Memorial Day and end the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Group tours are available spring, summer and fall by contacting the park in advance. | |

Mine and Facilities |
The open-pit mine and mining facilities are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The park is also designated as a site along the Heritage Tour route of northeast Minnesota. | |

Historic Mine Tour - Board a bus to trace the route miners took to get to work. Fossil Hunter Tour - Hunt for fossils from the Cretaceous era - best of all you can keep what you find.
