Seasonal Update

Water: Water is available seasonally from late spring through early fall in the picnic area, and April 29 through Labor Day at the campground.

Drinking Water: See above.

Bathroom Facilities: Vault toilets available year-round.

Showers: The campground showers are available seasonally from April 29 through Labor Day.

Dump Station: Is available April 29 through Labor Day each year.

Campgrounds: All campsites, including the horse camp, are open April 29 through Labor Day weekend.

Electric Sites: There are 11 electric campsites available during the summer camping season.

Special Notes for RV Campers: Electric sites have 30 amp service.

Reservations: The reservation system is available for camping at Lake Louise beginning April 29 through Labor Day camping season. Call 866-857-2757, or visit www.stayatmnparks.com.

Contact Notes: For information on this park, call Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park at 507-352-5111. The park is open every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Trail Notes: Horse trails are currently closed as of September 6, 2012 due to a bridge replacement project. Horse trails are normally open seasonally April 29 through October, and in 2012 this will be the case.

This park has nearly 12 miles of hiking trails, 10 miles of horse trails, and 14 miles of paved bike trails.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: At nearby Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park, Mystery Cave and Historic Forestville tours are available seasonally.
