Seasonal Update

Water: Water in the day-use areas of the park is turned off for the season.

Drinking Water: Water in the picnic area of the park is turned off for the winter season. Water is available year-round at the park office, group camp parking area and Trail Center.

Bathroom Facilities: Flush toilets available year-round at the Trail Center. Facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Showers: No showers available in this park.


Campgrounds: 17 backpack sites available year-round. Reservations recommended for weekends and holidays during the regular camping season. Reservations not accepted November 1-April 1.

Electric Sites: No electric sites in this park.

Reservations: Required for camper cabins Jan 1 through Dec. 31. Weekends and holidays fill quickly. Camping and group camp reservations are available April 1 to October 31. All campsites are available on a first come basis November 1 - March 31.

Trail Notes: Fourteen miles of cross country ski trail and three miles of skate ski trail. Winter hikers and snowshoers are asked to use the three mile winter hiking trail during the ski season. Fourteen miles of seasonal hiking trail through wooded, rolling terrain. These are ski trails in the winter. Six miles of horseback riding trail. Horseback riding trails close for the season on November 1st.

Season Rentals: Snowshoe rentals available weekends only with adequate snow. Rates are $6/day. Canoe, rowboat and kayak rentals are available weekends only (Saturdays & Sundays) beginning around mid-May through mid-October. Rental rates are $15/four hours or $25/day.
