Zumbrunnen Trail at picnic area features signs, boardwalk, and observation points. Forest Shadow Trail has a printed guide, available at the Trail Center.

Trails wind through rolling, wooded terrain. Natural soil surfaces. Great spring wildflowers and fall colors.

The boardwalk is part of the park's self-guided trail and crosses a wetland area.

Winter

Cross Country Skiing

14 Miles

Beginner to intermediate skill level, primarily intermediate. Rolling terrain goes through wooded areas, old growth forest areas, and past lakes and ponds. No rentals are available.

Skate-Skiing

2 Miles

Groomed trails.

Snowshoe

3 Miles

The park maintains 3 miles of packed trail for snowshoeing or winter hiking. In addition, snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park except on groomed trails.

Winter Hiking

3 miles of packed trail for winter hiking. Trail takes you through open meadows and old growth areas. Variety of habitat.
