Seasonal Update

Water: Water is now off for the season, but will be turned back on May 5, 2017.

Drinking Water: Drinking water is available year-round at the park office.

Bathroom Facilities: Bathroom facilities are closed for the season, but will reopen May 5, 2017. Vault toilets are available year round.

Showers: Showers are closed for the season, but will reopen May 5, 2017.

Dump Station: Dump Station is closed for the season.


Campgrounds: The campground has 61 drive-in campsites. Camping is available year-round. In winter, the park has campsites available for use in the B-loop of the campground, including electric (30 amp) and non-electric sites. The park's group camp is available for use year-round. The park's camper cabin is available for use year-round. Camper Cabin users must call to arrange for cabin key.

Electric Sites: The campground has six 30 amp electric sites.

Minneopa State Park is open year round 8am-10pm. Spring office hours are Friday through Sunday, 10am to 3pm. If park staff is not available to answer the phone, please leave a message. Self registration is located outside the park office on County Road 69/Gadwall Road, on the Falls side of the park and on the campground side of the park off of Hwy 68.


Trail Notes: The park has 4 .5 miles of hiking trail. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park.

Season Rentals: The park's picnic shelter can be rented for $60.00/day. Call the park to reserve.
