Campgrounds: Quarry Campground, Equestrian Campground and The Pioneer Group Camp are closed for the season.

Special Notes for RV Campers: There is no water or electricity hook-ups

Trail Notes: The Minnesota State Trail is open. In spring, summer, fall - the park has 41 miles of hiking trail, 6 miles of surfaced bike trail, 29 miles of mountain bike trail and 29 miles of horse trail. Call ahead for trail status. In winter, the park has 5 miles of ungroomed cross-country ski trails and 35 miles of groomed snowmobile trail. Snowshoeing and dog sledding are permitted in the park.

Season Rentals: April to November -The Trail Center Picnic Shelter can be reserved for $25.00 by calling 952-492-6400. December to March the Picnic Shelter serves as a warming house.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: The S.B. Strait House is open by request. Call 952-492-6400 and leave a message to make a request.
