Seasonal Update

Water: Water is on for the season. We expect to have water on until Labor Day weekend at Monson Lake.

Drinking Water: Drinking water is on for the season. There are two spigots in the campground and one near the picnic shelter.

Bathroom Facilities: The modern restrooms are open for the season. We will have full restroom and shower facilities until Labor Day weekend.

Showers: Showers are open for the season.

Dump Station: The park does not have a dump station.

Campgrounds: In 2013, camping will be available from the first weekend of May 3 through Labor Day weekend. All campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations are taken for this park.

Electric Sites: Six electric sites, each with 20, 30 and 50 amp circuits, are available during the camping season.

Special Notes for RV Campers: Electric hookups have been added to six campsites.

Reservations: Reservations are not taken at Monson Lake State Park, it is all first-come, first-served. Camping is done entirely by self registration on site.

Trail Notes: The park's hiking trails are open for use.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Park visitors are encouraged to visit the Interpretive Center at Sibley State Park.
