Visitor Center

Interpretive Center

The Center is located 1/3 mile northeast of park office. Three exhibit rooms in the upper level of Interpretive Center focus on wetlands, geology, and terrestrial features of the park. Lower area includes an auditorium and trail center. In winter the trail center is used as a warming house. Park provides wood for stove in trail center. Flush toilets are also located in the center.

Historic Site

VCC Buildings

Numerous buildings and roads in the park were built by the Veterans Conservation Corps in the 1930s. A kiosk that carries interpretive information about the VCC and VCC-built facilities is located in the beach area.

Gift Shop

Beach Store/Park Office

The Sibley State Park Nature Store is located on the Lake Andrew beachfront 4/10 of a mile west of the Park Office. Store operations are from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends. The store offers souvenirs, books, toys, games, a selection of supplies, shirts for adults and children, snacks, Coke products, Schwan’s novelty ice cream and Keurig coffee.

Rentals

Beach Store/Park Office

Row boat, canoe and solo kayak rentals available at the Beach Store Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends. Off season boat rental is available through the park office. In winter snowshoes are available for rent at the park office. Rentals are first come first serve. Small personal motors are allowed on row boats.

Firewood

Firewood is available year-round at park office.

Geocaching Demo Park/Bait Shop

Geocaching: Bring your own GPS unit or use one of the park's hand-held units for free. As time permits, park staff will be available to give you helpful tips and geocaching information.

Bait Shop: Available one mile north of the park entrance on the corner of Hwy71 and CoRd9, and in the towns of New London and Spicer.
