Seasonal Update

Water: The water is off for the season but will be turned on on May 4.

Drinking Water: Drinking water is off for the season but will be turned on on May 4.

Bathroom Facilities: The shower and bathroom facility is closed for the season. Vault toilets in the park are available year-round. Bathrooms will reopen May 4.

Showers: The shower building is closed for the season. Facilities are wheelchair accessible. Water will be turned on May 4.

Dump Station: Dumping station is closed for the season but will reopen May 4.

Campgrounds: Camping is available year round. Sites are limited in winter.

Electric Sites: Park has 19 electric sites. In winter, electric sites are walk in only after snowfall. It is best to call ahead to see if roads have been plowed or call Blue Mounds State Park at 507-283-1307.

Reservations: Recommended for holidays and weekends during the regular camping season. Not needed from November 1 - April 1.

Memorial Weekend - Labor Day: Daily, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Fall & Winter: Office hours vary. Please contact Blue Mounds State Park at 507-283-1307 for information.

Trail Notes: Park has 4.5 miles of hiking trail. In winter, snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park. Cross-country skiing is available in the park but trails are not groomed. The park has a sliding hill open for use in winter however the road to the sliding hill may not be plowed. Call ahead.

Season Rentals: Boat, paddleboat and canoe rentals are open for the season.
