Drive-in Sites

211 Sites

Three campgrounds all within easy walking distance of the river. Riverview has a mowed, semi-shaded to shaded sites (42 electric). This is the preferred campground for RVs. Paint Rock Springs campground offers a variety of shaded and semi-shaded sites. Some are mowed sites, others are wooded. Good for mixed camping units (tents and smaller RVs or pop-ups). Adjacent to play area. 9 electric sites. Old Logging Trail Campground offers more secluded sites in a wooded area. Preferred by tent campers. 20 electric sites.

Electric Sites

81 Sites

42 are located in the Riverview Campground; 9 are at Paint Rock Springs Campground; 20 are at Old Logging Trail Campground; and 10 are at the Horse Campground.

RV Length Limit

60 Feet

Length is measured from front of tow vehicle to rear of vehicle being towed.

Backpack Sites

2 Sites

There is a 5-mile hike to these sites. Each site has two screened adirondack buildings. Must carry in your water.

Walk-in Sites

Sites are located 50 - 150 feet from parking area.

Canoe Sites

10 Sites

Located on the Kettle and St. Croix Rivers. Not accessible by vehicle...only by watercraft. Sites are first-come, first served only. No advance reservation.

Horse Camp

Located 1 Mile from Park Office

Camp can accommodate up to 25 camping units and a total of 100 horses. 10 sites have electric. Facilities at camp include drinking water, limited number of overhead ties, corral and shower building. Some sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Group Camp

8 Sites - Each accommodates up to 25 people

Carry-in sites located near the all-season trail center, 50 to 200 yards from parking area. Building with flush toilets nearby, open year-round. Water available from water spigots. Tents only.

Group Center

Norway Point Center & Head of the Rapids Center

Centers are available on a seasonal basis from May through September. Includes showers, dining, and lodging facilities. Please contact the park to reserve.
Norway Point Center - Accommodates up to 215 people.
Head of the Rapids Cetner - Accommodates up to 125 people.
