Seasonal Update

Water: Drinking water is available from the hydrant located across from site 38 in the upper campground. Drinking water is also available from the spring in the lower campground.

Bathroom Facilities: Flush toilets are unavailable during the winter. Vault toilets in the park are available for use year-round.

Showers: Showers are unavailable during the winter.

Dump Station: No dump station is available here. The closest is located in Silver Bay or Cascade River State Park.

 

Campgrounds: Campgrounds have 51 drive-in sites; 18 with electricity, and 6 cart-in sites. In winter, the park has about 10 upper campground sites plowed and available for camping including 10 electric sites.

Electric Sites: The park has 18 electric sites, many of which are plowed during the winter months.

Special Notes for RV Campers: This is one of only two Minnesota State Park on the North Shore with electrical hookups.

Reservations: Highly recommended during the regular summer season.

Summer: Daily, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Winter: Call Tettegouche State Park at (218) 226-6365.

 

Trail Notes: The park has 22 miles of hiking trails, 6 miles of surfaced bike trails and a quarter mile of handicapped accessible trail. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park during the winter.

Season Rentals: Snowshoes are available to rent at Tettegouche State Park.
