Seasonal Update

Water: The water in the upper campground will be turned off Oct.19 .

Drinking Water: Drinking water is available from the well in the lower campground. The spigots located in the upper campground will be turned off Oct. 19.

Bathroom Facilities: Flush toilets are located in the upper campground but will be closed for the season starting Oct. 19. Vault toilets in the park are available for use year-round.

Showers: Showers are located in the upper campground but will be closed for the season starting Oct. 19.

Dump Station: The park does not have a dump station available.

 

Campgrounds: Camping is closed for the winter season. Campgrounds have 51 drive-in sites; 18 with electricity, and 6 cart-in sites.

Electric Sites: The park has 18 electric sites.

Special Notes for RV Campers: This is one of only three Minnesota state parks on the North Shore with electrical hookups.

Reservations: Highly recommended during the regular summer season.

Summer: Daily, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Winter: Call Tettegouche State Park at (218) 353-8800.

 

Trail Notes: The park has 22 miles of hiking trails, 6 miles of surfaced bike trails, and a quarter mile of wheelchair accessible trail. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park during the winter.
