Water: Showers are closed for the season.

Drinking Water: Water is available year-round at hand pumps in the park.

Bathroom Facilities: Vault toilets are available year-round in the park.

Showers: Shower building is closed for the season.

Dump Station: Dump station is closed for the season.

Campgrounds: The campgrounds in this park are open year-round. Winter access to campsites is walk-in only.

Electric Sites: No electric sites are available at Zippel Bay State Park.

Reservations: Recommended for weekends and holidays during the regular camping season. No camping reservations needed from October 1 - April 1.

Fall & Winter: Office hours vary. If no one is available, please leave a message.

Spring & Summer:The office will be staffed most weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Trail Notes: In summer, the park has 9 miles of hiking trail. All hiking and mountain bike trails in the park are open for use during the regular summer season. In the winter the park grooms 7 miles of cross-country ski trail, all for classic and 4 miles for skating.

Season Rentals: Canoe rentals are available during the summer. Ask about the self-guided canoe tour around the bay!
