The following protocol has been developed for the Minnesota Frog & Toad Calling Survey (MFTCS), based on the North American Amphibian Monitoring Program (NAAMP) protocol:

| *Routes in Northern Minnesota counties, including Kittson, Marshall, Roseau, Pennington, Red Lake, Polk, Lake of the Woods, Beltrami, Koochiching, Itasca, Aitkin, St. Louis, Carlton, Lake, and Cook have delayed sampling windows: Early Spring = April 25 - May 15, Late Spring = May 30 - June 15, and Summer = July 5 - July 20. | ||
